Loretta Fois (MFA Choreography, Ohio State University; BA Theatre/Chemistry, Holy Cross College), is a performing artist, choreographer, and teacher who works with movement, music, language and the visual. As Director of Espressione Corporea Project, she leads Expressive Arts workshops for adults and children throughout the world (www.corporea.org). She is Director of Dance at Raritan Valley College, and currently works with the Alzheimer’s Association, leading Creative Arts Memory Cafes. She studied Dalcroze and Espressione Corporea in Italy and New York, and has presented at National Dance Education and American College Dance conferences, and the 2019 International Conference of Dalcroze Studies. She received a 2017 and 2011 New Jersey State Council on the Arts Choreography Fellowship, and her work has been performed at Joe’s Pub, DUMBO, Ailey Citigroup Theatre, Dixon Place, YourMove, SMUSH, and the 2019 International Human Rights Festival. Loretta recently graduated from Salve Regina University with a CAGS in Expressive and Creative Arts and is obtaining her Ph.D. in Humanities at Salve.
